Im due to start ivf for the first time next month after trying for 2.5 years. I had an early miscarriage the first month we tried but nothing since. However, i have a nearly 5 year old daughter that we conceived naturally, and through all of the pregnancy no one noticed my uterus. I wish they had as it ended up with an emergency c section at full term, i was in labour about a week! Couldnt get past 6cm, then discovered she was stuck diagnally cuz of the shape of my womb. So i will need a c sec the next time too but im fine with that. I had no problem getting pregnant and my daughter was healthy all the way through. Are you having ivf because of it? Dont read all the horror stories, its much more commen than you think xx

Ahhh lovely you have a daughter your story sounds similar to mine we have been trying the same amount of time had one round of ivf which failed had appointment today they said it was down to my womb probably that it failed so going for second frozen round in November that’s nice you fell naturally with your daughter I fell pregnant quick first time naturally but misscarried too at 11 weeks it is a tough journey but got to keep going literally takes over your life doesn’t it xx

Im sorry you went through all that. Yes it does take over! Im at the point now where i ve had that many meltdowns that i have blocked a lot out. My partner really wants to try ivf and im going to as i really want a second child, but im really scared about all the drugs and what its going to do to me, and im thinking more about that than actually wether it will work or not lol. Really not looking forward to it. I dont have fibroids but i do have endometriosis. Thats not much fun either 🙄xx

Ahh bless you the hormones I found hard coz my hormones are terrible anyway you just have to take each day as it comes The process goes so fast too !! I got my husband to do the injections most the time gets u both involved that way !! We said we try these last two embryos then leave it coz taken over our life’s to much so up and down !! This time round il be having the transfer on my birthday if I come on when I should do lol xxx

My hormones arent great either, i take maca to keep them on track and im scared to death this will mess them right up, and mood swings, i dont want them either! I really hope these last two work out for you, it would be the best birthday ever! Ill keep everything crossed for you 🤞🏼. Have they given you a specific reason why youve not caught naturally? They think mine is my tubes, they are working too slowley as they are damaged. They said i could have a spontaineous pregnancy but im 40 now so the clock is ticking. Is it your womb thats the main issue? I got told it can make inplantation more difficult xx

Oh my moods are terrible !! lol I was just emotional and tired on the injections but u get through it and keep going for the next step you be ok !! Ahh bless u thank u hope yours works too 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Yes that’s right hard to implant coz of the womb the fibroid doesn’t help he said it’s just pot luck for me too ! When is your first appt ? Xx

Well we have the patient info eve on monday then have to ring when my period starts about 6th november. Im asking for the most minimal drugs that i can get away with, and hoping to miraculously get pregnant this month so i wont need ivf lol. At least our wombs are pretty ❤️😁. Cant they remove the fibroid? Xx

I have a heart shaped womb and has surgery on it in 2017. This following delivering my little girl at 23 weeks. They think my womb was the cause of it. Yes been doing ivf for years and currently pregnant 🤞

I couldn’t have surgery coz I have a fibroid on top of my womb dangerous to sort my womb I would then need a hysterectomy such a pain just low chance of me ever falling lovely news congratulations xxxx
