Im pregnant at week22 and since I met my midwife at11th week, she asked me if I use to eat salmon fish or foods full of Omega3 about3-4 times per week, and I said no,not that much! She reccomended me to take Omega3! I started using that since week16-17 and now Im just wondering if 1000 mg is too much or good durung pregnancy?!
Has anybody have any experience about it?!
I apprecciate your answers and time!

Hi Hun as far as I know we should not have any fish oil supplements or vitamin a but there is two types one is safe and one is not I guess one is made from body of the fish which is called (flesh) i think I could be wrong.. I would say double check with ur midwife.. sorry couldn’t help u much xx
Thank u for your reply! The one that I have is just fish oil and not included vitaminA . I know that taking too much A vitamin would be harmful durung pregnancy but this one I dont know!
I would call them on Monday for sure!
Xxxx
Fish oil is absolutely fine. But check with your clinic about your particular situation.
Cod LIVER oil is not. Any liver products are not recommended during pregnancy. Xx
Thank u so much dear Camillage. How r u doing with your little angel? Hope eveything is going on great for 3 of u😍.
Yes, I would ask her again and as she said fish oil(Omega3)is so good for the baby but not liver product! The one I have is just fish oil! Hope it is the right one Im taking!
Take care and give the little one a big hug from me. cxxx
I started taking pregnancy multivitamins since the beginning of my FET cycle.
My fertility clinic advise me another brand but I chose BIOVER because the omega 3 capsules are separated from the other vitamins which is better for absorption. Don't know if you have that brand in the UK (i live in Belgium). I have to take 2 capsules of omega 3 per day. Those 2 capsules have 1000mg of fish oil with EPA and DHA.
I'm 20 weeks pregnant.
Cod liver oil is not recommended because the fish itself contains lots of mercury.
Thank u for the good info! Im living in Sweden actually but Im taking multivatims seperately from the Omega3 as well! I think it is included just EPA and DHA too!
I will check it with the midwife again but I think it is the same as yours!
