Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has used clomid before? And if so, did anyone fall pregnant with it on the first go?
Thanks

Hi, I’m 36 weeks pregnant now with my clomid baby boy! Took 4 rounds of it but it worked for me! Just hold out with it as my friend fell pregnant first round of it and I was shocked when I didn’t.
It is a hard drug on your hormones tho I found so just look after yourself and don’t beat yourself up for being hormonal on it! xxx
Hey, congratulations on your clomid baby!🥰 when you say 4 rounds, do you mean 4 months? I've just started my 2nd month on it now.
I have found I'm a lot more sensitive to things now! Find myself becoming emotional at the silliest things! I do always put it down to hormones though!🙈 xxx
Thankyou hehe and yes sorry 4 months! Omg bless you I was so bad over the silliest things too so don’t worry, you aren’t alone ☺️.
4months felt like a life time for it to work especially after almost 3 years of trying but now I’m nearly due I feel so lucky! So try and hold out with it! Did the starting dose work well for you? Xxx
Hi Purple. Just wanted to say that Clomid has been around a longtime, and we still manage to have successful, ongoing pregnancies from its use. I must admit that I don’t often hear of first time users getting pregnant straight away. Often 2nd or 3rd cycle. Uncomplicated to use, so fingers crossed it works for you. Diane
I fell on first cycle & had my daughter once I’d had my endometriosis diagnosis & treated.
I’d previously done 4 rounds of clomid which failed due to my untreated endometriosis which grew & affected implantation so nothing would’ve worked.
Good luck hope the clomid does the trick 😘 xxx
I've got stage 4 endometriosis but had a hycosy test done in may which showed my tubes as being patent, I am concerned incase the tubes have blocked off in the last couple of months. My endo isn't being treated due to the position as my consultant says it wouldn't be a straightforward operation and would take longer to recover, whilst I'm asymptomatic she thinks best to leave alone.
So did you end up with a clomid baby once your endo was treated?
Thanks!🥰 xxx
Yes I did thank you my little girl Francesca was born early June this year after a 7 year struggle with 3 surgeries for endo 2 after a miscarriage.
Endo is such a horrible disease sorry to hear you are sufferer too,
My endo grew on my uterus ligaments ( as well as POD & rectum) which changed my lining making it uneven & made my body think I was pregnant ( when I wasn’t) I had every symptom really awful to manage when you want to conceive ☹️
Sounds like yours doesn’t affect fertility which is wonderful news. Endo doesn’t always impact on fertility dependent on where it grows.
Good luck xxx
I was only diagnosed last year after being in hospital with a hormonal bleed leading to a blood transfusion, when they finally got round to an MRI they discovered a endometriotic nodule between my bowel and womb, I then had multiple hysteroscopies due to having hyperplasia of the womb, now I've finally got the all clear of hyperplasia they've gone ahead with the clomid, due to see the specialist again in November, to see where we're at with the clomid, so fingers crossed!🥰 huge congratulations to you on the birth of your little girl! Thank you very much!💖 xxx
Thank you.
Getting a diagnosis of endometriosis is so tough it took me 5 years & 10 months of TTC which was fobbed off as “unexplained infertility “ & 3 years of abnormal cycles which no gynaecologist could explain.
It’s so frustrating it takes so long so much time is lost ☹️
Really hope your time is coming soon xxx
Hi Purple, I fell pregnant on second round of clomid. First round I was overstimulated so advised to give that round a miss, second round I fell pregnant! It was prescribed for me for low progesterone levels as they were too low to sustain a pregnancy and it worked. Wishing all the best with your treatment. Feel free to message me if you have any more questions xxx
This is interesting. I haven’t been offered clomid. I have stage 4 endo. Was this through your private clinics or NHS? Xx
Hi,
For me it was more because I had been trying for a baby for over a year, then I had hormonal bleed that required me to have a transfusion, I then had an MRI which showed a endometrial nodule, then I had hyperplasia of the womb, so all of this resulted in me being referred to fertility, I'm under a private nhs clinic xx
