I started taking it on the 2nd day of my cycle for 4 days with no problems. It's now day 31 of my cycle which is approx 45 days long! I should be ovulating now. My husband and I had intercourse last night and since then I have had light stomach cramps and spotting. I'm not sure if this is related to the sex or the clomid. Background: I had endometriosis removed last year and have not had problems with bleeding after sex before. Please offer any advice.
Thanks!
Xx

Oh god...I hope not! I've emailed her. Hopefully I'll get a reply!
Hi Jessie, on how much mg are you? I took 6 rounds 50 mg but didnt help getting pregnant. It did regulate my cycles which was hopefull. I wasnt offered any scans so in hindsight im thinking whats the point of taking it if u dont actually check if it makes me ovulate (ggrrr!! Nhs sometimes).
Did they offer you a scan? If private can you ask for one? I was told it will regulate your cycles so the case yours is still long might mean you on the wrong dose? X
Taking 50mg on my first round. Maybe I am having a period then? I don't know...I have emailed my consultant fingers crossed I get a reply! I'm NHS so no scans. I had an ultra sound scan beginning of the year and ovaries looked good no cysts.
What you can call her about is how to get red of the cyst because after clomid I had the same symptoms and on scans they saw cysts that prevented me to ovulate. It’s been 2 cycles lost already. If she has any good advice on cyst please message me!
Hi Lilly sorry to interrupt. I had my cyst before the clomid but then my thyroid wasnt detected. Did you had your bloods done then for thyroid? I think now it all is connected and my low thyroid maybe caused the cysts. X
After having done some internet research and finding that clomid is known to cause cysts, I asked my IVF doctor who confirmed it probably was the clomid as it can cause cysts. I don’t know for sure off course but as I haven’t had the symptoms before while having hypothyroidism, I think that in my case the most likely cause is the clomid
Check for yourself on internet, there have been several studies on clomid and cysts. I am so sad I was given this med and now cannot have a normal cycle since.
