Hi,

If you have tried clomid what day of your cycle did you start it on? Day 2, day3 or day 5?

Also, did you find its best to take it at a certain time of day?

Thanks

N

I always took it on day 2, first thing in the morning!

I wasn’t advised when in the day to take it.

Good luck xx

Hi I took clomid on day 2-6 of my cycle. I took the clomid in the morning.

It made me ovulate later I ovulated day 15 using clearblue digital OPK but we had a successful outcome ( after my endometriosis was treated)

Good luck I hope it brings you a BFP xxx

Hello. I was told by the fertility clinic to start it on day 2 of my cycle. I took mine in the morning. I felt the side effect of hot flushes no matter what time of day I took it! Good luck

I took day 2-6. I don’t think it matters what time you take it as long as you take around the same time each day.

Also had hot flushes, but no other symptoms luckily!

Hello how are you monitored while taking clomid? Do you do progesterone blood test every month and see the gyne too? Thankss

Hi,

I had progesterone blood tests every month during this period. I only saw gyne after 3 months and they changed the dose however I was an nhs patient. I wonder if you would see a gyne every month if you were pp? Or any scans to check ovaries and lining? Maybe post the question to group?

I did ovulate some months on it according to my blood tests but unfortunately it did not result in a pregnancy or baby for me. I do know others it has worked for though 😊 x

No, I stopped clomid last September/October. I have actually just completed my first IVF round and have done my first pregnancy test last week and it was positive 😍 Our clinic tells us not until our 7 week scan they class us as pregnant so we have another 3 weeks until the 7 week scan. So fingers crossed our little bean stay happily and healthy in there for another 8 months 😊

Are you about to start clomid? Are you an nhs or private patient if you don’t mind me asking?

Congratulations!!! Have a healthy pregnancy ahead 🙏😍❤️🎀So i am on nhs but i have also seen same consultant privately too as they did not offered follow up and now back on nhs.. i will see the consultant after the first cycle which i am about to start.. he said to try for like 5 cycles and hopefully will work.. I thought you will see the gyne each cycle to see how it goes 🤷‍♀️

Thank you.

I saw the nhs consultant after 3 cycles but had progesterone blood with my gp every month. First cycle I ovulated, but didn’t for second and third, saw the consultant, they upped it (doubled) for last 3 cycles. I think if I had scans then it may have been more effective. Good luck!

I think so. But this wasn’t something that was offered to us unfortunately.

Yes nhs is like that.. now i am thinking if is better to ask to do the scans privately if it makes a difference and help more🧐
