*Bemfola anyone?*

Hello all

So baseline scan went well. Lining at 2.3mm so can do my first injection tonight. Very nervous but just want it all done with now! The nurse was surprised I was on bemfola and not menopur.

Has anyone had bemfola ? I can’t find much info on it at all! Also what’s the difference between the two?

Hope you’re all having a good day anyway!

Sorry can’t help with your question ... could your clinic help if you asked there?

Good luck with injections i’m on day 4 of them (Menopur though) ... so early days for me too... wishing you well xx

Hi jaygilligan. Not much difference, except Bemfola probably easier to administer. Goof luck! Diane

Hi,

I had bemfola for mine. I’ve not had menopur so can’t tell you the difference but I found them fine.

Also the pen type injections are really reassuring because it’s impossible to get the dosage wrong!

Good luck x

Yep, my stimulation cycle went really well - I didn’t have many side effects and got lots of eggs. Hopefully yours will too! X

I had Bemfola this cycle and it was fine. Really easy with the prefilled pen, but just make sure you definitely push it in right until you reach the stopper as I almost made a mistake and have seen someone else on here who didn’t quite give the full dose each time but only noticed after a few days. Good luck, you’ll be fine! xx

Thanks very much. Did you respond well to it?

Yes I did respond better than before.. previously had short protocol with Meriofert (was told same as Menopur) for 3 cycles and got between 5-9 eggs each time. This time did long protocol with Bemfola and got 13 eggs and am currently 6 weeks pregnant 🌈😁 From what I can gather different people respond differently to different drugs and they’re not always sure why! xx
