Diane’s slow return

Hi Everyone. Just to let you all know, that I am planning a slow return back to work, later today. Not back in my office yet, so relying on my little iPad for now. Unfortunately, I suffered a major bleed following my recent hysterectomy, resulting in anaemia and protein loss, leaving me extremely weak! Still, I’m on the mend now, just working on building up my strength. Love to all. Diane xx

Thank you for everyone's good wishes. I'm getting there slowly. My arms are still quite weak, so doing lots of exercising. The problem was when I had my hysterectomy, I had to stop my blood thinning tablet I was on prior to the op. It was started again too soon post op, so I had a massive vaginal haemorrhage, "blue lights" to A& E!! I ended up anaemic and with muscle loss, so having to build them up again - hey ho! Blood transfusion and a course of iron sorted that out, but need a few more cans of spinach to sort out the muscles!!! Diane
