I was wondering if anyone knows what happens after you have a successful pregnancy and you have two frozen embryos ? How much is costs to go ahead and try again with your embryos x

Hi,

The prices will vary by clinic but we have looked at this as I am pregnant but we have an embryo frozen which we may try for a sibling in the future.

Costs for a frozen transfer plus medication probably around £2000 give or take x

Hi. We’re about to start IVF, and we’re told that we have any embryos left, they will store them for free for three years, and each FET would cost £1,500 xx

Congratulations on your pregnancy 😊 xx

Hi,

My clinic charges £1200 for a frozen transfer including medication (just progynova & cyclogest, (you have to pay about £300 on top if you add progesterone shots).

Embryo storage is about £650 a year where I am x

If you google Glasgow Royal Fertility Clinic website (the private side) you can see price lists om their website. We have actually signed forms with a plan of going back in next couple of months to try for number 2 and its going to be £1400

I made contact with the private side, they organised for my file to come to them then they gave me a call to organise a booking appointment (for paperwork, bloods, swabs).

Once thats arranged, they send paperwork in the post including a note of how much it will cost. That needs to be paid or treatment won't go ahead. I am not sure if I need to pay before trying to book on or whether I book on and then pay before my first appointment on Day21. I need to phone them to clarify this as they arent good at replying to emails it seems....
