What happens next

Hi..I'm due to start long protocol. I've started my periods an have rang in for a appointment which will be on the 2nd of Jan which will be day 21 of my cycle. What happens at this stage. Could u get in touch please either who have done this or starting around the same time.

I'm just about to do our 3rd cycle on long protocol and my day 21 is 31st of December! All clinics do things differently and use different drugs but you should start your down reg medications on day 21. Mine are by daily self injection, but others use nasal spray. Am sure they will give you full info when you go for appointment and any training you will need. I then had to ring on first day of period and got booked for scan a week later to check lining had thinned out. I then started my stimming injections to get my follicles growing. This takes 10 days on average with regular scans to check your progress. Then you're ready for egg collection! Hope that gives you a tough idea. Feel free to ask any questions xx

I remember that feeling heading into my first cycle and not knowing what to expect. The clinics are great at walking you through everything step by step. And lots of people on here to support you. Xx

Today is my day 21 so I started my nasal spray today which I have to take for 3 weeks and they sent out my baseline scan appointment aswell which is the 4th of January. This is our first cycle aswell super exciting and super scary all rolled into one good luck on your cycle xxx
