Hi guys!

I'm new here and was wondering how anyone with endometriosis reacted through the ivf process? I have severe endo, and so far on burserelin i've been fine. Due to start menapur next week. How have you all endo sufferers reacted and how have you all dealt with the symptoms?

thanks for reading! x

I have endo on tubes (1 blocked), rectum and cervix are stuck together with endo. I also have endometriomas on both ovaries.

I was worried about starting ivf treatment as my endo and pmt are bad enough without added hormones lol. Tbh the injections actually chilled me out. I felt much better in myself both physically and emotionally.

I can see why people opt for surgical menopause for endo treatment. Even though this is something I said I'd never do, I'm actually thinking of it for the future.

No endo pain or flare ups. No endo belly! Of course it was also great delaying my period 😁

Unfortunately I had a BFN. But from the endo side of it, it's the best I've been.

Of course this is my story. We're all different. I don't want to get your hopes up in case you react differently. Hopefully more people will reply and you can build more of a picture x

i'm starting Menapur today. So far on buserelin i've been great. My endo has really calmed itself. I'm feeling great! Just worried about it flaring up with the stimulation drugs.

Thanks for your reply! Glad to hear your symptoms didn't worsen during the ivf process. I'm hoping mine won't either X

I hate stage 2 endo and a blocked tube and generally have quite a lot of pain with it however I didn't have any flare ups during both my fresh or frozen cycles. My consultant said down regulating with buserelin would help to keep my endo under control x

Yes, i've found the down regulation process to have helped my endo significantly. Just worried about the stimulation drugs x
