It’s my first post, we have just started our first round of IVF after 4 failed IUIs, I have endo and had a lapro to remove endo from my bladder and ovaries. I also had a uterine polyp removed. Are there any endo ivf success stories out there? And anything you did to help the ivf process? Thank you

Me 🥰 I've had two laparoscopy surgeries for endo then had ivf afterwards as couldn't conceive naturally. Also had polyps removed during egg collection. For me I believe extra progesterone really helped and increased my chances. I also took low dose steriods. Also eating healthy, drinking lots of water, taking your vitamins and probiotics. I had acupuncture too, it helped me relax but wouldn't recommend it if it causes more stress to try and fit it in (like my first cycle) lots of luck. Ivf can defo work if you have endometriosis so keep positive ❤️🥰
I did acupuncture for a couple of weeks leading up to transfer and then just before transfer I had it too. Afterwards I had it but for not as long and it was slightly different in terms of where they put the needles. Find a fertility one they will know. Just make sure they are easy for you to access before and after transfer. You don't want to be driving miles after your transfer. Ask your clinic as some do it.
Really hope all goes well for you ❤️ keep me updated xxx
Hi yes I have had success with stage 4 high grade Endo and adenomyosis. I had 6 embryo transfers untill I had my baby. My Endo was really severe I had success with a frozen round and had down regualation in advance of the transfer. I was careful with my diet and took supplements like ubiquinol, vit D, folate, prenatal and. Lots of water and reduce foods that tend not to cause inflammation. Good luck
thank you - we are trying a fresh round first so fingers crossed! I have had 6 embryos frozen and 4 are getting genetically tested so hoping they are good little embryos.
hi not had success yet…. Accupuncture is advised in the build up and then pre transfer. I have booked in for the morning of the upcoming FET. They do say after, but my acupuncturist says that can be a bit more stressful. Good luck x
I had quite bad endo since I was about 11, seems somehow to have gone from my late 20s in terms of lesions, however I've still had symptoms like spotting and breakthrough bleeding, very long periods, and loads of other issues. I had two laparoscopies. We were TTC for about 5 years before we started IVF and even when we did I didn't respond well to the meds and then had two early losses (however, as this meant to be a good story) some of the super helpful ladies on here pointed me in the direction of the link between endo and oestrogen dominance/progesterone resistance which can even be an issue with 'silent' endo which is what I may have. The treatment seems to be masses of progesterone and finding the right form of it (I didn't do well on cyclogest, but better on utrogestan and lubion). My doctors had always rubbished the progesterone theory and weren't convinced on IVF, but my first FET on it was successful and I have just had a fresh transfer with the one(!) egg we managed to get on collection and am approaching 5 weeks. I also second folate, ubiquinol and aspirin. ☘️
I think I was told take aspirin after egg collection and not before as it can cause bleeding during surgery, but your clinic can advise you - my consultant said it wouldn't make any difference in his view but he wasn't bothered about me taking one a day and it didn't do any harm last time so am taking it again this time.
