Hormone tests for recurrent miscarriage?

Can anyone advise which hormone tests might be relevant to a recurrent miscarriage situation?

Have had 2 and in UK so tests only done after 3 miscarriages but I want to do some online tests if possible to see if anything is up in that respect.

Not sure what to look for though.

They test your thyroid level, bloods for Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) sticky blood and other blood disorders not sure what they said they did 3 tests.

They do an ultra sound to check structure uterus shape. They sometimes can do karyotype genetics testing but we weren’t offered it.

I think you can only check your thyroid online out of them tests.

Thanks for this. I was wondering if they tested progesterone or something to see if levels are right? Can’t see option for that online though. I’m going to get thyroid levels tested anyway.

Hi . Yes they did with me . They checked everything they could. I also had an ultra sound to check things were okay . I had thyroid checked , they checked for APS as previously mentioned. ( I did have markers for aps) , they checked for progesterone problems . And also one other test but I can’t remember which one.

My thyroid was my problem for recurrent miscarriage despite being told thyroid had no infertility links. I didn my own research and was right in the problem .. hope you get the answers you would like xx

Thanks- that’s so awful they said thyroid had no link to recurrent miscarriage, I’m starting to think GPs know NOTHING about this stuff! Glad you discovered a reason behind yours. Still hoping mine is a random thing!

Was just a simple blood test x

On medicheck they do fertility checks

Not a hormone test but my husband and I had karyotyping done privately through our fertility clinic and that identified our problem.
