Suprecur = buserelin. I did a nasal spray of buserelin (called Suprefact) for down regulation on my fresh cycle. Because your uterus lining is thick you will need to be down regulated before you start progynova.
I did two medicated FET with progynova. In my case it was not necessary to do down regulation because my lining was thin after my period.
Good luck!
Hi I had suprecur (buserelin) in my first long protocol cycle. They were fine really - found the injections easy as nothing to mix. It did give me a really heavy head headache but I was on it for six weeks in total so could have just been the build up. Masses of luck! X
Hi Jess. The commonest side effects of the drug are moodiness and headache. It works on the pituitary gland in the brain, just above the top of your nose, which can lead to forehead headaches. Safe to take some paracetamol if needed, but no anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope all goes well with the cycle and your FET is successful. Diane
