Hello my lovely ladies hope you are all well and enjoying some nice weather wherever you are π»π€β€οΈππ
I'm on clexane for the first time and it stings so bad once injected. I guess due to being on aspirin and blood thinners too I bruise so much. I didn't get a single bruise when I was stimming but now my tummy is starting to look like a chess board.
Any advice on how best to administer clexane? Soon I won't have any unbruised space to do the injections lolπππ
Wishing you a lovely day and sending hugs and positive vibes to you all!
P. S for the first time I'm holding myself away from testing. Yayyyy fingers crossed I'll keep it up until OTD 9th of May π€π€π€π€π€ππβ€οΈβ€οΈπ€π€π€π€

Hi hun, you should put an ice cube on the area before doing the injection, pinch gently and take it at a 90 degree angle, change side each time. Here is a tutorial for you: m.youtube.com/watch?v=x9QQu...
I was also black and blue! They are nasty. Put them in straight, pinch a big bit of skin and use cold ice packs. I also gave myself chocolate after every injection β€οΈ
I am the same. Had the odd one or two bruises from stim injections over the years but hardly any. Every single clexane injection I did came up in a bruise a few days later and my stomach looked like a large print dot to dot. I only had to take them for 10 days so even with all the bruises I was able to find patches to keep doing new injections but if you are on them for a longer period Iβm not sure what you are supposed to do. I tried ice and inserting needle at different angles and couldnβt find anything that stopped them bruising. Sorry I canβt provide anything more helpful. Hopefully you are not on them long term and maybe ask your clinic what they suggest. Good luck. X
I think if all works out fine I'll be on them for quite some time that's why I got worried. I did use the technique with the ice today and no bruise yayyy
All I can say is itβs normal and I try and pinch a nice soft bit as hard as I can and go in nice and straight like the others say. Also my husband gets a bit of tissue ready and when I pull the needle out I immediately press it on the injection site for about 20 secs
Hiya Klndmr, I have been injecting it into my top front of my thigh. It still stings, but no where near as much as it dis in my stomach. I haven't tried the icecube trick. Good luck π€
