Ok so, just about to start my treatment. Had the baseline scan today and all go for meds to start. However, I have tickets to see Pink at Wembley stadium on Saturday and need to take them whilst in the stadium. But obviously as it's needles don't want security issues getting in and then where do I do it as will need to prep them somewhere clean.
Anyone had to do something similar before. Any advice? Thanks.

I don’t know about taking needles into stadiums but surely they must allow if it’s medication. Is there any way you can do your injection a little earlier?
I went to the Pink show in Glasgow last weekend. They mostly had portaloos set up so probably not the most hygienic for prep but if you speak to some staff there hopefully they will help you.
I stupidly didn’t take my pessaries with me and ended up being a few hours late with it as there was traffic chaos afterwards and it took until 2am to get home. It was all worth it though. An amazing night. You’re in for a treat! x
Like a previous poster said, you can fly with them (and I have done, many times!) so can’t imagine a stadium being any stricter. Also, what would diabetics do? Maybe call them to put your mind at rest but don’t think it’ll be a problem. For peace of mind, a letter from your clinic could be a safety net. Good luck and have fun!
There are disabled access points at various turnstiles, perhaps aim to go through one of those? You can then ask a staff member to allow you access to the disabled toilets to do your injections. From memory they aren't accessible to all so should be cleaner. Though the toilets at Wembley are generally cleaner than a lot of public toilets! Enjoy!
I was at the Pink concert in Glasgow on Sunday! You will have a lot of fun!
I also was flying with a needle, and although I had a letter, I did not take it out of my luggage and it was not checked. I am sure that diabetic people must be allowed needles in any places as well. I would make sure to have a letter from the clinic.
Hi all. Thanks for the help. I phoned Wembley and they've said as long as it fits in a small bag and is safe then it's ok. As for taking the meds I've got to find a customer service person and they should help. I'm also going to take something from the clinic. So fingers crossed!
Hi Lesmec - not sure whether this is helpful or not. Depends how big the needles are (im still on medication stage so not sure on the needles) but my OH is type 1 diabetic and he carries a needle everywhere. As long as you are upfront about it they are normally fine - just don't let them find it themselves as they can be funny - hope you have a fab time
I’m not sure about the security but did my meds all over the place. Disabled toilets are best because of having more space. Take a Tupperware takeaway tub or similar to give you a clean surface to work in.
I’m an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic and I’ve taken needles everywhere. If you have a letter from your clinic you should be fine. Also, when it comes to doing the injections, you could see if there is a St John’s ambulance area or similar which will be cleaner and nicer than the loos. Best of luck to you! Xx
I did mine in an arena. No one questioned me going in. I didn’t want to do it in dirty toilet so went to the first aid room and asked if I could do it in there. They were really nice.
I’ve done my injections in an airport and on the plane too.
In terms of having needles in public places it isn’t an issue. There are lots of conditions like diabetes for example were people have to inject them self at specific times.
Hi everyone. Thanks for your responses. Just come out and was bloody amazing. In terms of getting it in was fine and went to the first aid room to do the injection which was fine albeit and audience as several people in there with the heat.
