Advice please ❤

Can anyone tell me...with a frozen cycle what cycle day does treatment start from? Will I need to wait for a period or start from day 21?

Hello what do you mean by treatment? When do you start taking your medication? If so, I always start on the second day of my period and continue until blood test, if negative then you stop

Hiya this is my first frozen round so I don't know how it works! I was wondering if drugs started with your period or on day 21 like I did with my fresh round.

Not sure how it works with the fresh transfer as I have never had one I was overstimulated so have been having frozen transfers ...

I am going through a frozen cycle at the moment. I had my consultation, waited for my period then started injecting the down regulation medication on day 21. You normally phone your clinic to tell them it's the first day of your period then they give you a treatment plan with dates on it. Hope this helps and good luck x

Brilliant! That's great help. We've our consultation Friday and period due any time so hoping we can tie it all in to start this month. But if not, atleast we know we'll have a little wait before starting up again ❤ hope yours is going well! Xox

I am taking progynova and progesterone though, no injections so it might be a different protocol?

Maybe so. I don't know what they have planned for me yet. I find out Friday . I was just looking for advice on when you usually start your treatment 😊

Day 21 at my clinic for FET 🙂 Used to be Day 3 at my clinic but they changed the protocol last year xxx

Thanks!! How does that work then? Get scanned when your period starts and then start day 21? Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to see if I make it for this cycle which is starting imminently!! Xx

Wth my clinic I call on cycle day 1 and on cycle day 21 I go into clinic, they do an internal scan and then if I'm ready (I was last time) they administered an injection into my bum (I think it's down regging). I then had to wait for a bleed (it was around 7 days later) and on day 3 of that bleed I started to take progynova, 2 weeks after starting the Progynova I went for another scan where they confirmed I was ready for transfer. They booked me in for transfer 7 days later and I started taking cyclogest pessaries about 6 days before the transfer. This is all based on my last FET which was in March, I'm having another FET in August so hoping it's still the same protocol 🙂Xxx

On my first fet I had to down regulate on Buserelin for 28 days. I think it all depends. I'm not doing down reg on the one I'm about to be doing xx

Hey, for both my FET cycles I've started down reggin on day 21. I didn't go for a scan before just rang my clinic on day 1 xx
