I love both but I’d say it depends what you want from it. For me the Reflexology is super relaxing and zones me right out, but medically I have no idea if it helps anything. Acupuncture I feel is more medical, and I don’t really feel as relaxed by it, although still feel it is worthwhile. I’m not sure if that answer helps or hinders but maybe try one of each and see what you think? X

Thank you for replying! I’m leaning towards acupuncture. It’s expensive to have both mind isn’t it? X

I had the same question weeks back and went with reflexology with reiki and I love it. It was amazing! It relaxed me so much and also helped with my anxiety.

Acupuncture is good but not sure I can face any needles other than for ivf treatment atm x

Thanks for replying. Yes my friends says she finds reflexology very relaxing. How often are you having it? X

Every two weeks. After my failed transfer I was in a bad way emotionally so they recommended once a week but I wasn’t working so couldn’t afford it that often x

Had my first acupuncture last weekend and was terrified of the needles, usually I'm okay for a quick blood draw but hated the thought of having them stuck in me. My palms were so sweaty! But once they were in I didn't notice them anymore. I'll keep trying for a few months at least.

I’ve been doing acupuncture with a lady that’s been a practicing midwife for two decades (or three!). She manages to rid me off a lot of unpleasant side effects. Had her support with my second cycle (first transfer) which gave me my daughter and it was great. Felt good throughout pregnancy.

I have reflexology and enjoy it. Not tried acupuncture but something I’ve debated myself which one is best. I think reflexology is proven to improve blood flow which is good for us and anything that can help us relax is a good thing! Find someone who specialises in fertility acupuncture or reflexology though xxx

I absolutely believe acupuncture helped before my FET. I once the needles are in my body feels so heavy. I went to a lady who specialises in fertility and not only did I enjoy the acupuncture she gave me information about fertility and the IVF process that my clinic didn’t. Xx

How many sessions did you have? Did you try reflexology too? Xx

I had 4 sessions in the run up to it and one earlier in the year, she was really honest and told me not to waste my money basically and to start the sessions when I was on the FET medication. I haven’t tried reflexology as I hate people touching my feet 😂

Lol then reflexology wouldn’t be for you! I think I’ll try a session then have some around my treatment too. Thanks!

Try and find someone who specialises in fertility and they will also answer all the questions you forget to ask at the clinic! Good luck xx

I have had acupuncture my my third retrieval and the last two transfers, it was the only thing I hadn’t tried. The clinic had an acupuncturist but it was hard enough getting time off for the necessary appointments as the clinic is nearly 2 hours one way from my home, but I found a lady nearer who is absolutely brilliant and although I have had bfn she has been good and given me honest advice too. I love reflexology and have had the odd session to pamper myself although have been advised to leave it a week between the two!

I have been going for Accupuncture who specialises in fertility. Also I am on clomid too.

After my first Accupuncture session and on 3rd round of clomid I got my first ever BFP. Ended in MC unfortunately but both Accupuncture and clomid played a part in getting pregnant.

I am still carrying on with Accupuncture, I def think it’s helps with blood circulation.

It is quite expensive though, I have been to 3 weekly sessions this month which cost £150
