Progesterone side affects

I am 4dp5fet and feeling truly awful - tired, headache, terrible bad mood and lower tummy pain. These symptoms are getting worse and I believe are related to the progesterone pessaries as I reacted badly when I took clomid. Has anyone else experienced? Is there any remedy or relief?! Even a quick trip to Waitrose left me seething..... How will I cope at work next week?!

Hi...

Remember that all those signs that you mentioned could be early pregnancy symptoms :)

Progesterone slows down digestion, I feel bloated and tummy pain all the time. I drink ginger or mint tea to reduce these symptoms.

I also feel tired all the time, so I try to rest as much as I can.

Good luck!

Hi,

No tips as I feel absolutely fine, just wanted to say we are at exactly the same stage to the day and wish you Good luck!! I’d take comfort in the fact that the symptoms do all sound like early pregnancy as well as progesterone. I actually wish I could feel something then I would have a bit more hope!!

Fingers crossed for you xxx

These ALL sound like symptoms of the FET working! I went through the same :). Just hang in there to see your BFP in a few days. Good luck! Wishing you the best!

I had a bunch of side effects/symptoms the first few weeks taking progesterone suppositories. Unfortunately progesterone mimics early pregnancy symptoms so if you get your bfp, as I did, it's difficult to know what was really causing those nasty effects. From memory I had cramping, exhaustion, frequent urination, mood swings and tender breasts, really tender breasts! Afraid nothing really helped any of them and it didn't help that until 6dp5dt when i poas for the first time, i had no idea if it was the progesterone or pregnancy making me feel crazy! Good luck!
