Morning everyone,
I was just wondering how many of you began taking prednisolone after 3 or more failed transfers and then went on to get your bfp?
I’m putting together my case for when I see my doctor.
Thanks in advance xx

I did...which obviously you know....we did miscarry but still got a BFP after 4 BFNS....2 with OE (not so great quality), our 2 BFN were with (1st transfer/2embryos) 1 hatching & 1 fully hatched blastocysts and (2nd transfer) 1x4AA blastocyst, so very good grades. Our BFP was with a 4AB & 3BA with prednsiolone. It could also be down to luck/bad luck but its the only thing we changed for that cycle and will be taking the same meds this time as we genuinely think it helped us.xx
Hi ya I had 3 failed fresh cycles. From my third cycle I had 3 wee embies to freeze. I had a fet with 2 embryos and for the first time took 10mg pred from day before transfer. I am now 14 weeks with twins. I'm not sure if it was the fet as it was alot easier on my body or the steroids or the fact these 2 were just meant to b but I know if I ever go again I will b taking pred again x
Huge congratulations! Did you have a medicated or non medicated cycle? X
Hi,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I really am going to push for the steroids this time. I need to try something different to rule things out. Xx
I took it with my third attempt as i didn't like the idea of not doing something different and just going down the same road with the same result. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and are currently being weaned off the Prednisolone. Tomorrow is the last time i take it. I took this with Clexane (injection) which after going to the obsterician at week 9 said this medication is VERY strong and should only be used on a last case basis as it is VERY strong. But i currently have my bubba in my belly so i couldn't be happier.
