Losing hope

Hey ladies

So today is 8dp5dt and tested again result was BFN...shall I still be hopeful or start letting go? My OTD is Wednesday but surely at this stage if I was going to show a positive it would of started to give me at least a faint line as there surely would be some HCG in my urine?

What tests are good to use at this stage? I been using clearblue early detection so I would of thought this would have been the better one?

Are the hospital ones better than all the home ones? I really don’t know what to do or think now?

Can anyone help at all?

Thanks ladies xx

I tested first at 9dp5dt and got the faintest of fain lines. It wasn't very visible at all. If I'd have tested a day earlier there wouldn't have been anything there. I think you are still in the running! Good luck

Hey blue today wasn’t anything looking like there would be any faint lines coming up it was a straight no I will keep trying but I’m losing hope here thanks Hun x

The FRER is the best for catching the very lowest levels of HCG. Make your you get the early result one not the rapid result one (rapid result isn’t very sensitive at all).

I’ve personally had a faint bfp start on 14dpo so maybe you just need another day or so, but there is no way to be sure until OTD I guess.

Good luck I’ll hope for a positive for you xx

Hey orla I’ve only used the clearblue early detection thought that would of been the best one to use maybe it’s a late implanter but still was hoping to start seeing a good result xx

First Response Early Result by the way is what FRER stands for xx

In my experience the blue dye tests aren't as accurate as pink dye ones. Could you try a FRER? They're very sensitive x

That's the torture of early testing 😞 I really hope things turn around for you and you end up with a positive!

I know lovely but it's so early. They give you an OTD for a reason. Please try and stay positive. Have you got anything nice planned for tomorrow/Monday to help distract you? x x x

I know you just sit there and hope there is a sign or the test comes up earlier I don’t even feel any different still having some cramps and constantly checking for any blood not planned anything really got no motivation at all 😢 xx

Your right need to get up and do something nice to keep my mind busy going to in-laws today so that will keep me going xx

Far too early. The only reliable day is otd x

I’m dreading that day I didn’t think a few days would make much of a difference x

in reply toSexy376

I know. So much can change even from the day before though. I tested myself before otd. Just need to know. But if your otd is Wednesday you are only 2/3 of the way through your wait. It can definitely change in that time xx

Camillage thanks for the positive help it’s just seeing so many positive early results make you lose hope when yours keep showing negative I’m just hoping things do change xx

Agree with others definitely too early. Also some babies implant later. My baby didn’t implant till 12 days post ovulation ( initially I thought the cramps was my period coming) you definitely still have a chance of the test changing! I will keep everything crossed for you that it’s a BFP on OTD 🤞🏻✨❤️ xoxo

Did you use morning urine? I would of thought clearblue early detection would of been the best but I’m hearing from many other ladies actually first response is better xx
