How is everyone doing! Is really been awhile hope u guys are fine? please is it save to start taking utrogestan again at 18 weeks pregnant? Am 18wks and want to my high risk doctor yesterday because my pregnancy is placed on high risk because of my past, so she said i should use utrogestan once in the evening, what do you guys think is anyone in same boat with my please let me know thanks.

Hi I'm not sure to be honest but I'm thinking if you are high risk and your consultant is advising this then that will probably be the best way forward. I wish you luck in your pregnancy x

I have no experience of this, I guess you have to trust that the Dr knows best! After all they want the best outcome for you so wil be doing all they can to help you get your baby here safely and on time! Could you even ask to speak to your consutlant to go through your concerns and if there are any risks involved?xx

Hello, yes it is perfectly safe! I have been told by my doctor to take it too (17+4)!

Hi Abibridget. If you have a history of miscarriage , this form of progesterone is often prescribed. No need to worry about it, your consultant has prescribed it for you, so go ahead. Hope all continues to go well with the rest of your pregnancy. Talk to your little one often, and play him/her music as he/she can hear you now - magic! Diane
