Hi Tina112 i was really fortunate with my clinic they didn’t really weigh me at all! but I told them the truth that I wasn’t where I needed to be and they just said make sure you are before your transfer which i did as my wife did the egg collection and was below 30 BMI!! It all depends on the clinic which doesn’t really help so sorry I’m not much help good luck with everything xxx

Hey Tina.

They may have to weigh you to understand what meds to give you. However our BMI is the same. I refused to let them weigh me again as it was a demeaning process to which I felt un-human. I’m not fat, I’m beautiful!

I got refused by the NHS because I was literally only two kilos overweight! I’m not usually a large person, but the eight month roller coaster on Clomid sucked and was stressful.

Be you! Be Beautiful! Infertility doesn’t discriminate!

Just eat healthy , exercise and stay true to you

Xx

Hi thank you for responding. I am lucky enough to live in Wales so I am going through the NHS on my own. The last 12 months of tests and loosing my results etc has made the process so much longer than it needed to be so i think i gave up worrying until i got a call from the clinic to say everything was at the next stage. I have been eating so healthy, given up all alcohol etc.. but i have started training and I think this is why the weight isn't shifting as quick as it should be.

I still have a month till i start any meds so fingers crossed I will be on target by then.

Thanks again
