Scan worries

Hi, I’m on Menopur and due a scan on Wednesday to see the results of the drug. I’m concerned the results won’t be positive. Natural thoughts at this stage I guess? I haven’t had any bloating or pains yet after 4 injections. Has anyone not had a good result at that stage and not been able to move on or dates delayed? Just wondered how common it is for original dates to be put back? Thanks x

I didn’t really feel anything until my last 2-3 injections. I think it’s still early. So try not too worry. Everyone reacts so different

Thanks for your reply. That’s good to know. Hope to feel better once Wednesday is out the way. There always seems to be a hurdle to reach 🙁 x

Wishing you lots of luck for Wednesday. Hopefully you’ll not need to but yes, egg collection can be pushed back to allow a few more days injections and follicle growth xx

Hi, I've just been through the menopur, didn't really suffer with side effects much, my egg collection had to be put back 2 days as the eff follicles were there they just hasn't had chance to get big enoigh, don't worry too much about dates and staying on track 2 day later is better it's means they are healthier. I got upset when they told me I wasn't ready but my husband pointed out they just need more time in the oven. Take care, stay positive and remember every body is different so hour plan may not match another's plans xxx

Hi, I wasn’t sure if it got pushed back if it was only days or weeks. So hopefully it sounds like it’s only a matter of days. As well as the worry of not being on track it’s hard to explain to work! Thank you for your advice. Xx

Hi, only days, the work problem is why I have took time off work as with scans every other day and blood tests , work would of made it all the more stressful. I've had to take time out for myself. Currently I'm 7 days into my 2ww. Next week I'll find out if my bith/either of my 2 embryos has taken. Fingers crossed. Look after your self xx

Hi Gemmy999, try and be positive. I know egg collection can be pushed back to allow the follies to grow. My egg collection was pushed from Wednesday to Friday and this made a massive difference. My nurse also said to me that the trigger shot also boosts them. You will be just fine. Don’t stress and look after yourself x

The trigger shot is done 36 hours before egg collection . Help mature ur eggs before they are collected

We’re I’m on Buserlin but I move to menopause on Wednesday . Got my scans all next week where I find out dates for my egg collection
