Hi, I had my first FET and took my pregnancy test on Saturday to find out it didnt work. It's so heart breaking! I now have to start all over again because I only managed to get one good embryo from 14 eggs. Hope so much for more good quality eggs next time round. Has anyone else been through the same? I seen some people saying they had two embryos transferred I didnt know this could be an option.

So sorry to hear this. 😓 I wish everyone on this forum could get a positive pregnancy test I really do.
Your clinic will not encourage having two embryos transferred, due to complications of multiple pregnancy, however when I had my chat with the embryologist before my transfer he was very much “it’s up to you”.
I’ve heard of some clinics who will advise you to transfer if all are bad quality and some that are dead against it. But I’ve never heard of anyone being completely told “no”.
I think in the US it’s still standard practice to transfer more than one.
I would definitely discuss it with your clinic.
Good luck xxxx
I’m so sorry to hear this - it devastating. Our FET failed in November. My only advice is to try and look after yourself, give yourself time to work it through and spoil yourself as much as you can. The thing I was told which helps is every cycle helps clinics to learn about our bodies so future cycles can be more successful xx
So so sorry this time didn't work. I hope you do get to learn from this one to take to the next. Sounded like you harvested a good number of eggs - did they mention anything about the fertilisation rate? Might be good to look at the sperm? Big hugs xx
Hi they just told me that they expected me to only have 2 or 3 to get to the blastocyst stage but I only got the one.
