Operation done! I now only have one Fallopian tube. The doctor said the surgery went well and he removed the left hydrosalpinx and entire tube.
He also removed endometrial dark ‘chocolate’ marks. He said everything else looked good and wouldn’t confirm endometriosis.
Anyone is the same position? I was hoping for more of a resolution. He said he treated the symptoms but the cause is unknown/more difficult.
The hospital has been fantastic and I am so lucky to have a private room. Thank goodness, because the ward is mainly for newborns and expecting mothers. This is such an emotional journey: excited, scared, heartbroken and full of hope all at the same time.
It is cruel. Every time I went to the hospital to have tests for my operation I would see so many pregnant women. Even in my room they had posters on how to breastfeed. Heartbreaking. The amount of times I have cried in the waiting room is too many too count!
The only bonus of a fertility clinic: you don’t feel so alone ☺️
