Brown blood?

Some months I get very dark brown almost black thick sticky blood rather then red blood for my “period” any one know why?x

I’ve been told before the brown blood is what they call “old blood” it’s just taken a bit longer to escape than the fresh red blood. I have both during my periods though. Probably worth asking your GP to make sure it’s ok if you only have that some months. Could be completely normal everyone’s bodies are so different. 🙂 x

Hi Sammejayne. I would speak to your GP who may do some blood tests or refer you to a specialist to check you out. Could just be that it is normal for you. Hope you get some answers. Diane
