I have been for 12day scan in preparation of FET and been told my ovaries are quiet and my endometrium lining is 11mm? Woke this morning with pain in my lower stomach, do you still ovulate when on Progynova? Has anyone else experienced this, should I be worried?
No, progynova prevents ovulation. All is sounding good for you but progynova can cause a bit of cramping I believe so may be that. If your ovaries were quiet then you wouldn’t have ovulated - they would have seen a large follicle otherwise.
Good luck lovely I am actually about to start on Progynova too for a FET transfer. Any side effects from taking them? Are you also using cyclogest as well? Fingers crossed for transfer xxxxx
No , you dont ovulate on progynova....which will be why they said your ovaries are quiet so nothing to worry about. You can get cramping on progynova. All sounding very positive and your endometrium is a good thickness too.xx
I was also on progynova in last month for FET. But it got cancelled because of COVID-19 and also doctor mentioned that vascularity in my uterus is not that great.
They asked me to continue with progynova after my period arrived though they are not going to do FET in next cycle.
Could you please let me know what might be the reason?
I am trying to conceive naturally during this period of lockdown. With this I am worried xx 😢
Hi Meghan, I honestly couldnt say what the context of this was...a few guesses though....Im not sure they would do a doppler to check the blood flow (shows in colours) or whether they were talking about the look of your lining.....they like to see a trilaminar picture of your endometrium (also called triple lined)....it shows as a bright white....you'll see pics of if you google. Also the thickness can be affected by blood flow, so could be that it wasnt as thick as they would have liked. You would have to ask your clinic what they actually meant but you could bring these things up as to ask what the Dr meant. They have maybe asked you to stay on progynova for an extra cycle to prep for your next transfer as sometimes a build in your system can help however taking estradiol can stop you from ovulating.xx
