Just wanted to share my progress. Background: Second ICSI cycle, last one ended in a chemical pregnancy. My partner has low sperm count. Since then I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I am 36.
Just had my egg collection today. They got 7 eggs which I am satisfied with despite it being less than last cycle when I had 11.
I had general anaesthetic and was totally asleep for the whole thing. So much better than the last time which I was awake for and was very painful during the procedure.
Today when I came around I was in a lot of pain so they gave me extra codeine and once that kicked in I was OK, but then I was sick when I got home. Now in bed with hot water bottle. Feel OK just a bit achey.
Wish I could fast forward 3 weeks when I will know if it worked!
Find out tomorrow how many fertilised.

This is lovely news. I loved the little updates, as well. I really hope all of it works out for you! It would be great news, to be fair. Sending you lots of love and baby dust. You can get through this, honey! Do keep updating us, we're all rooting for you. x
Update: one grade 4AA (excellent) quality embryo put in today, feel really good about it. According to some research I just read, that gives me a 65‰ pregnancy chance and 50‰ chance of a live birth... Although that would be if I didn't have adenomyosis, which has a higher miscarriage rate.
Anyway I am feeling positive. Have 4 in the freezer after 2 cycles now (find out about another 2's progress tomorrow) so glad to have a backup.
Thank you! I just read your page and saw you are 7 weeks pregnant after a 4AA transfer so that was nice to read. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
