Glad that's over with!

Procedure itself wasn't too bad but got excruciating pain whilst in recovery which lasted about 20 minutes.

They got 28 eggs and I'm high risk for OHSS but they haven't said a definite no for transfer this week so just hoping for good news.

Hope everyone else got on ok that was having EC today xx

Thank you! Just worried they'll decide to just freeze everything and I'll miss out on a fresh transfer but got lots of advice for monitoring/treating OHSS and they're bringing me back in for monitoring anyway so 🤞🏻

Oh didn't know coconut water was useful for this? It's disgusting but would try it if it helps prevent me getting poorly!

I think it depends on which brand you get! Some taste better than others!! My acupuncture therapist swears by it post EC. I think it's to do with the electrolytes in it. Helps flush your system out. Could probably do the same by adding a little rock salt or Himalayan salt to your water. Hope you avoid OHSS! xx

Wow 28! Gosh you will need a jolly good rest and lots of water. Make sure you look after yourself and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for lots of embryos. xxx

Thanks, that gives me a bit of hope. I know if they don't transfer it's only for the benefit of my health but still hoping so much I can get there.

🖒 pleased it went well for you! 28 is the same as I had. My clinic didn't give me an option and we had to freeze all... hope everything works out for you and you are feeling ok! X

Thanks. Bit bloated now but feeling alright. Got to go for blood tests and check ups on Friday and Sunday (day 3 & 5) so I won't be getting any option either if the results aren't good. But they haven't gone for a definite freeze all yet so will just have to wait and see x

Fingers crossed for you. I was the size of a house after my egg collection - hubby said I looked about 6 months pregnant (oh the irony!!). It's weird how different clinics work though, yours will monitor and make a decision later, mine just said I was over the egg number for a freeze all. Look after yourself and hopefully everything will work out ok xx
