Can having no Fallopian tube delayed my period?

Hi all, I had both my Fallopian tube removed early this month and I am still waiting for my period to come. Have anyone else had their tube removed and still have period on time or delayed few months or not heavy as usual.

Kinda stress over this as I am waiting for my period so I can start my ivf.

Please share your experience and I appreciate it.

Hey! Did you have the op before ovulation? I have had both Fallopian tubes cut away from uterus but not totally removed but it was after ovulation so didn’t affect timings. I spotted a lot though! And the next cycle I had a cyst. It is a very stressful op for the body so things can get confused for sure. But you will bleed soon. How many cycles do you have to wait after the surgery? How do you feel mentally after having it done? I hope you are recovering well. Cxxx

Hi. Yes I had the op before ovulation, 3 days after period ended. No spotting for me, just mucus way too much to handle during that 1 week recovery. Now everything is fine. Doesn’t change much on my body. The op can be done any cycle but only few days after period ended. Mentally okay, just try not to think about not having any tube to conceive naturally. Same goes emotionally. Just afraid it will disturb my AF cycle.

Can’t wait for ivf treatment.
