We had our follow up appointment today after our recent BFN.
I had blood taken to test for sticky blood and we were advised to enquire about having the Biopsy taken to test for NK cells at Coventry. Has anyone had this done recently? Is it worth having? Also is anyone aware of what the cost might roughly be?
Thank you and love to you all xx

Hi, sorry to hear about your BFN. I have recently had NK cell tests. I had my results a few weeks ago. My levels were normal. So no treatment needed but from what I’ve read I think it’s worth having it. It’s £500 for two biopsy’s. Hope this helps xx
Hi I've had it done too. You can self refer via Dr Quenby / Dr Brosens secretary. If you Google Coventry hospital implantation clinic you should find the number x
Hiya. I had this test done recently. They take to biopsies of the uterus and compare. I was told that my NK Cells were low both times. I had a telephone consultation with the professor, to be honest, it's wasn't very helpful. He said "this is a bit of a head scratcher for us." Seems like they can treat high NK Cells but have no plan for low cells. He tried to reassure me that low was better than high but results come in high, normal and low. I thought I was going to be high so wanted the test done. Glad I had it because it offer reassurance than I didn't have high NK Cells but left me feeling like it was a bit if a waste of precious time and money
