Egg Collection

Hi everyone

Im anticipating egg collection at the end of this week. I have my day 9 scan of menopur tomorrow. Has any body got any advise with regards to leading up to it and the day? Ive read a few people advising to drink plenty?

Hi Elma. Drink lots and lots. You should be already but make sure it’s at least 2 litres. Just keep relaxed and don’t forget the time of your trigger shot. And you’re there! I hope you have lots of healthy eggs. Good luck my lovely xxx

Thank you emma. Its difficult to drink that much at work but ill try! Im so grateful for my phone alarm, I have it set for everything as my memory seems to be suffering with the injections.x

I know the feeling but soon they will stop and then you have to remember the pessaries!! And lay down for 10 mins after lol x

Drink lots of water as that helped me with the discomfort of having a load of huge follicles in my abdomen 😂 it’s an exciting and nerve wracking time but try to relax as much as possible. The EC wasn’t as bad as I was expecting and I found it useful to finally have some answers to worries I had about my husband and I being biologically incompatible. Good luck x
