When should I expect my period after chemical pregnancy??

Hi there,

My last period was Christmas day, had a positive pregnancy test on 31st January after 3day embryo transfer with icsi. Found out on 7th Feb I have had a chemical pregnancy. Hormones all over the place. Any ideas when I should get a period. I didn't bleed much after the cp, but have had an infection. Just wanting my body to get back to normal now x

I had the exact same, my period arrived a day or so after I stopped the meds x

I feel better already a week later. The meds were making me so bloated and groggy but you just get used to them don’t you!

Sorry about ur chemical. I bled 3 days after stopping my meds when I found out I was having a chemical. It lasted for 10 days, I then had my period 4 weeks later. Unfortunately after that my cycles have been 5 weeks long, hoping after my FET it'll knock things back to normal now.But I think these things can change a bit, so try not to worry if things are a bit different with ur cycles xo

I also had a chemical pregnancy last year in August. My periods finally returned mid January.

Thanks 2018hopeful. Docs thought I had stopped ovulating due to being premenopausal (im 39!!) but I think all the drugs and stress put a toll on me. Since relaxing my periods have returned heavier and longer lasting than ever.

Glad they have returned now, I feel like I'm gonna get a period soon, have had a few days of non stop eating sweets, and normally get a period a week later x
