Strange period after chemical pregnancy..

Hey everyone, I wondered if anyone has any experience of this..I've just had a very unusual period, the 2nd one after our chemical pregnancy last month (my last period started 2 days before OTD 😔)

This period has been super light, short and with no pain which is absolutely unheard of for me because I have endometriosis and they're usually very painful.

This was our 4th cycle and following every other cycle my periods have gone back to normal straight away which is a really good thing of course.

This one is just puzzling me! Any thoughts? (I know I should just be glad it wasn't horrendous 🙈 xx

Hi Georgina78. Unfortunately, it can sometimes take a few cycles to get back to what is normal for you. Just keep an eye on what's going on, and check for pregnancy if it remains super light. Can't give you a definite answer as to what is going on, but if you don't get back to your usual cycle soon, then best to have a word with your GP. Thinking of you. Diane

Thank you for the advice Diane, I probably should be glad it has been so easy for once shouldn't I! It did cross my mind 'could I be pregnant' but I haven't bought a test because I just wouldn't believe it. I will see how I get on today, it's day 3 but there's only been the tiniest bit this morning and nothing on any pads in the previous 2 days, only when I go to the loo and wipe. Thank you x

Hi Georgina78. Wait for another few days, then if still the same, be brave and do a test, just to exclude the possibility, and so you know where you are. Hopefully, all be resolved by next expected cycle. Diane

Hi Georgina, I hope my next one is as light, I fear it's going to be horrific though lol. It would perhaps be worth testing just to settle your mind. Otherwise it's probably just your body getting itself back to normal. Thanks for you message today - it really helped me Xxx
