We have now had our inital group meeting and it was scary to say the least. I've got so many mixed emotions about it all today and can't help thinking... what if it doesn't work. I'm want to be as positive as possible. How did you all do it? Reading some of your posts makes me think 'wow', where did you get all that strength from? X

Honestly the build up to starting is a very difficult and stressful time as it's the unknown. Once you've done your first injection and know your treatment schedule you do relax in to it a little and are always looking to the next stage. You are stronger than you think and you will cope with it all because of the end result. Good luck to you, you can do this xx
Hi hunny, don’t think of it as this one big thing, but break it down into parts that you have to work through, so part one the wait until you start down reg (if your on long protocol that is), part 2 down reg, part 3 stimming, part 4 EC week and transfer , part 5 the 2ww and if you break it down and take each day as it comes it’s just not so quite so overwhelming. Honestly you are far stronger than you think you are, the injections really aren’t bad in fact I used to find having 20 mins to myself to do them quite a relaxing part of the day. Wishing you lots of luck for your first round hunny x x
Tbh the routine and numerous appointments make it fly by. The drugs can effect your emotions and I know I was a bit teary after collection and transfer but I really recommend the ivf mindful app, yoga and a fertility specialist for acupuncture. It really helped my anxieties and also just envisioning that baby in your arms at the end of it makes you forget everything else. Good luck xx
