New to this group and I’m driving myself insane with all the questions so thought I’d ask you guys instead.
Had my 5 day transfer last week, due to have a PG blood test on Thursday (it’s been the longest 10 days of my life). Have symptoms that could be a result of the progesterone or pregnancy and sometimes I don’t even know if I’m imagining them! Want to get excited as people tell me believe your pregnant until proven otherwise (PUPO) but I also don’t want to set myself up for a big fail. Anyone have any symptoms when taking the progesterone? Do you also know why I could possibly have to take them up to 12 weeks of positive on Thursday?

Unfortunately, progesterone does give you pregnancy-like symptoms so you won't know for sure until testing - so hang on in there, not long to go now!!!
If you were to get pregnant naturally your body would be producing its own progesterone, I think from what's left of the follicle the egg came from. But our bodies aren't doing that after IVF or a frozen transfer so we need to take progesterone - It's what keeps the uterus lining from breaking down. After a while, when the placenta has grown and is established, it will start to produce the progesterone you need and you can stop taking the utrogestan. I was originally told 12 weeks, but in the end Dr. had me come off it between weeks 9 and 10.
