I started my FET with buserelin injections to down regulate and on 29 jan was told after a scan I could start building up the womb lining with progynova tablets (womb lining was 4.2mm I think). Next progress scan is 11 Feb to see how thick the womb lining is (was told it needs to be 7-8mm or more).
Is anyone else at the around the same stage?
Thanks xx

I am going through FET. I am in the middle of taking my HRT tablets and start taking my nasal spray on Thursday morning. I am going back for my scan on the 12th February and find out on the 12th February what date I will be having my embryo transfer done.
This is my first FET cycle. I havenβt had a scan yet since starting HRT tablets. I only get one scan after being on HRT for 13 days and hopefully my womb is thick for transfer the following week. Itβs a 4AA embryo I have for transfer.xx
Wow, I think we must be about the same place in our IVF cycle! I've been taking the HRT tablets for 11 days now. It's my third cycle (but first FET). Our clinic don't tell us what grade the embryo is but I know that they're 5 day (blastocysts). Best of luck!! Xx
I'm behind as you guys seem to be transferring in Feb. My FET cycle is fully medicated and controlled but if all goes to plan I'm transferring 8th March.
I'm not necessarily doing a transfer in Feb, it just depends how I react to meds to build up the womb lining. Not putting any pressure on... Just seeing what happens! My previous 2 cycles were very slow to get the womb lining ready so I'm telling myself it will be late Feb/early march! Best of luck with your cycle. It's my 1st FET so I'm not sure what warrants it to be fully medicated, but I'm on buserelin jabs, progynova tablets and was on a controlled bleed from provera. Does that make it a controlled cycle or is it different? xx
Not sure but I'm on the same as you though. it's the only way my clinic do it so that's what we have. 14 days DR I'm on number 7, 2 weeks progynova, one week holds and then transfer.
Hey everyone, we have our ET on Tuesday. Excited and nervous. Start the big needle injections tomorrow so that is freaking me out a bit. So I be nice to have some buddies too x
Awe how exciting, that's not long. Are you doing a frozen or fresh cycle? What's the big needle injections? This is my 3rd cycle but first FET. I've done a lot of injections to date, just try and remember what it's all for. I hated needles when I started (still not keen) but honestly, you'll be fine. Squeeze the "flab" if you can (I have plenty!!) And it makes it less sore. Best of luck xx
We're having a frozen as we have had PGD. It's a into the bum muscle..... bigger than the little yellow one into my belly π£(yes I have lots of flab there too). I've got good at the belly ones even though I hate needles, I think it's more that I can't do this one because of the location so my DH is doing it.....bless him he's pretty nervous too so I'm been all oh it's ok, don't worry I trust you when in reality I am pooing myself π
Oh I see, poor you! The intra muscular jabs arent as easy! I've only ever had a few but not for IVF. I'd be the same, much prefer doing it myself. What's the bum ones for, is it for all FET cycles? I really feel for you lovely, it can't be easy. Try and focus on the hopeful end result.
What does PGD mean? Sorry.. it's been a while since I've been on here!
I'm ok, just getting a bit bloated! Have you found that? I don't remember it being this bad previously! Xx
Well done to your DH for doing the bum jabs! The things we do!! π The progesterone support alongside IVF has so much positive research now, it's grown in favour a lot since I started IVF in 2014, so it can only be a good thing. How was the jab, did it hurt or was it ok?
I had IVF with PGD. I had 4 embryos biopsied on and 1 embryo came back low risk. I am in the middle of my FET. I am going to the hospital for my scan on the 12th February and have the transfer done the week after if my womb is nice and thick.π
We're pretty much at the same stage. We're booked in on 11th. Although I'll have only been on the HRT for 14 days by then so am trying to not get my hopes up and get carried away!! π I'll keepy fingers crossed for you xx
Hey Hun, my dates match yours but I am not having a transfer this time, I am having a biopsy (ERA) which is the exact mimic of a FET but on transfer day I have the biopsy instead x
It looks like there's quite a few of us all around the same stage π I hope you all have good news at your next scan / or that your ET goes well. Does anyone find that taking the HRT/PROGYNOVA makes you bloated as? This is my 3rd cycle and I forgot how massive it made me! It's so uncomfortable too and I've only been taking 2mg X 3 a day since 29th Jan (just over a week!!!). Does anyone have any tips on keeping the bloat down? My next scan is on Monday (11th) but I know from previous cycles my body never responds straight away!!!
Signed, the beached whale π ππ³ππ³ππ³ππ³ππ³
Yes me too! I need a tent! π The irony is that people start to look and must notice my mahoosive belly and think I'm pregnant π Good luck with your transfer today! Xx
Thank you - Still waiting think will be today or tomorrow. Booked time off work now though so not having to juggle appointments around work! Iβm at ARGC so 7am daily blood tests to determine the day! π΄π΄π΄ xx
Hi thanks for asking all well I think. They said the embryos looked like they hadnβt been frozen! Thyroid has gone up though so increasing thyroxine - think may be the steroids that impacts it. Who knows if thisβll be my time but Iβm hopeful!! Just woke up to some pretty vivid bad dreams so thatβs not so good! π X
Try and keep positive, don't let the bad thoughts creep in. Are you at work this week? If not, maybe do something to take your mind off things and distract your mind? X
Nope have two weeks off so hoping to enjoy some box sets, see some friends and read some books! Bought Dare to Dream by Izzy Judd so hoping that will help with positivity! X
Thanks lovely. Not sure when my transfer will be, depends on the progress of the HRT I guess... Trying not to second guess it πππ my heart says I want to get going asap with ET but my head says I want to wait and see, and go for the right time that suits (when my endometrium is nice and thick)... Previously it's taken 6 weeks or so... and this time I've only been on the HRT for 2 weeks so far.... So if I'm not ready then I'm not ready! πHopefully it won't be too much longer in the grand scheme of things... Fingers crossed that my endometrium has got thick enough tmw ππ€π
Hope you're managing to rest and not getting any more bad dreams. Have you started Izzy Judd's book yet? I've been eyeing that one up too so you'll have to let me know if it's any good! π X
Hey definitely sounds like the right view to go with the flow and π€π½π€π½π€π½π€π½π€π½ for today! Aiming to start the book today so will let you know - itβs Β£1.99 on kindle this month so a lot cheaper than paper version! X
I am exactly the same as you! I started buserelin on 29th Jan (CD 21) I am currently waiting for a bleed (seems to be taking forever) I will then have a scan and start the progynova for 5 days and then a scan following week to see if ready for transfer. How are you feeling?
Wow how exciting!! Best of luck Kelly ππππ
I started the progynova on 29th Jan after being scanned and checking for a thin endometrium that day. (buserelin jabs were started on 13 Jan when I had a bleed). I've got a scan booked on Monday (which will be 14 days of progynova) to see if ready for transfer.
Feeling ok thanks, a bit bloated and tired but feeling positive. How are you feeling? Keep in touch!! xx
I have been feeling really tired. Really sore muscle aches and pains which is the side effect of the nasal spray. Good luck for Monday let me know how you get on. My appt is on Tuesday at 10:15am. My clinic is at the Royal Glasgow Infirmary. The clinic I go to has the top and best success rates in Scotland.πxx
Best of luck on Tues. ππππRemember if you're not ready yet it isn't too bad, it just means more meds... Whatever it takes and all that! π I'm trying not to put too much pressure on each stage!
That's great you're at the top clinic in Scotland! We're at Gateshead Fertility Clinic, which we chose after lots of deliberating, but chose it based on distance and results, although I think all the clinics are amazing!! It's a long drive for us ππ
What are you doing to help re diet, supplements, acupuncture etc? Xx
I take supplements, my body will definitely be ready for the embryo transfer the following week. I have been responding really well to the medications. I have been taking a Cassanovum Boost supplement since my first day of my cycle to ovulation time to help my uterine lining. I have app on my phone that tells me when my ovulation is. π
That sounds really prepared!! Not heard of the supplement you are taking, will look into it! I've just been taking Zita west's supplements. Fingers crossed all this effort we're doing has an effect! π
My lining wasnβt thick enough it was at 6.1mm I need to get to 7mm. I am going back to the clinic on Saturday morning at 10am for another check up.I have changed my supplements to now I take Vitamin E X2 capsules, primrose evening oil capsules and also drinking a glass of pomegranate juice as well.
Best of luck for Saturday, but remember you'll get there and it doesn't matter how many days it takes to get there, your body will be ready in its own time! Hope you don't have too long to wait π xx
Oh I miss read your post sorry hun, I thought you were on buserelin. I think we can cope with feeling tired and a bit bloated canβt we π... i am feeling extra tired and bloated but I am due to have a bleed so could be ther normal AF signs. Feel positive this time too. I have extra progesterone so hopefully enough for our miracle to happen β€οΈ ... wishing you lots of luck hun x x
Thankyou lovely, it sounds like you've got a good positive mindset!
You didn't misread π I'm on buserelin (since 13th Jan) and progynova since 29th Jan. I think everyone's meds and plans are different, but it sounds like we're close in timings for scans etc.
Yes a little bloating is ok... I'm pretty sure we've all handled worse π Good luck lovely xx
I am trying π€ lol .... I have my 1st scan on 19th Jan and then I will start the progynova, feel like things will spread up a bit after the scan. Have you been for your second scan to see if your lining is thick enough for transfer? You got to be close now hun x I find all of this on itβs the dreaded 2WW that is the worse!x
Iβm right there with you! Had day 10 scan last Friday lining measuring 9.4mm got another scan tomorrow and itβs look like FET on Friday. Wishing you all the luck xxx
Yeah thatβs right it needs to reach 7mm to be able to go ahead for the embryo transfer the following week. If my womb isnβt ready on Saturday morning they are going to have to cancel the cycle as it will be close to my next period cycle.
Sounds like all the scans have been going well. I hardly bled on my dr period but went for the scan and the lining was 4.1mm. last time it was less than 1mm which was very real because i couldn't believe how heavy it was.
So starting progynova today but haven't got far to get to over 7mm lining.
Don't know why but im a bit hung up about not having a smaller lining after dr.
I did my transfer on the 15th, and did a pregnancy test yesterday that came back negative. Official test date is this Friday. So you can imagine i am down and under because of the HPT results
