Feeling disheartened

Went for first baseline scan yesterday and my womb lining is too thick. Was supposed to start gonal f today but instead I'm too continue on burserelin and have another scan on 26th. Feeling worried because hospital said if lining does not thin out we will have to abandon cycle and start again. But I no longer have regular periods and can go up to 6 months between bleeds.

Anyone else ever been in this situation and by 2nd scan lining has become thin? I need some positive stories to keep me strong and positive.

This has happened to me too, nobody knew why and I was told it doesn’t happen often but does happen. I was left on Buserelin for longer and my lining never thinned, unfortunately my cycle was cancelled. I just had to wait for my next cycle then started again and it thinned perfectly second time round x

My lining thinned by my second scan. By my first Id only had a few hours bleeding and it just stopped. I actually didnt have anymore so thought it hadnt worked but my lining was thin enough, apparently it can also be absorbed. Good luck.xx

Here's hoping it works that way fir me too. Last year everything went without a hitch but this year is so different.

Hi my lining was too thick, I had to take an extra 2 weeks of buserelin and it was still thick so had one injection of prostap went back after 4 weeks and it was the right thickness x
