I have recently been given my scan results and I noticed I’ve got a womb lining of 12mm is this classed as a problem? It seems very thick to me? I have just been diagnosed with adenomyosis could this be the reason. I’m confused as the dr said in the scan my womb was fine but I’ve had the results and this is worrying me.
Thanks in advance 😘

I think it’s normal dependent upon where you are in your cycle, mine was 16mm on cd17 a couple of months ago and they weren’t worried x
When I last did ivf 5 years ago my lining was only 6mm on egg transfer and now it’s 12mm with a normal cycle and no medication. I’m 😐 I’ve just been told I have adenomyosis. Do you know anything about this? Will it affect my implantation? I think you one of very few most people struggle to get it thick. How is your journey going xxxx
Absolutely disastrously!! 3 transfers, 2 pregnancies, 2 losses- twins @9w and a boy @ almost 17w and a potential failed cycle this time if my lining won’t thin. Hopefully you will have better luck than me! I’m sorry I know nothing about adenomyosis X
Jesus. That’s awful 😔 I’m so sorry about all you have been through. It’s so tough for us all really is. I just wish that every single one of us gets there in the end 🤞 xxxx your a very strong lady
Thanks, yeah it’s not been the journey we had expected! Even my consultant said it’s a massive understatement to say we’ve been unlucky! Good luck, I hope your journey is much more straightforward x
