Today is the day my husband goes for his sperm retrieval and I am a nervous wreck!! I can't be there with him today as i have an important exam with work, which I'm absolutely gutted about! He's had a 2 and half hour journey got his op.
How to I stop this sick feeling?! It's torture.

All the best and prayers. I can imagine how it feels when not being around with the partner. I have been through this. We did video calls and wished each other. When situation is unavoidable we have to accept. He may be thinking that you are worried about being absent. Hence reassure him (and yourself). Everything will go on well. Best wishes and prayers.
fingets crossed for good news. My husband recently had this done.. he was only in theatre for about 15mins, says he remembers nothing and had minimal pain afterwards xo
