You can have bath in Luke warm water but don't put hot water bottle on the abdomen ...continue medication given by doctor.
Regarding bloating n cramps it's part of ivf egg retrieval symptoms .Don't worry but if it's too too too much painful and you are not able to tolerate contact your doctor till then chill out and wait for a call from your doctor after five days regarding your embryo quality
Pray pray pray
All the best
I hot told no baths for risk of infection! Take some paracetamol, drink lots of water.xx
I got told no baths too, sorry! I hope the bloating settles down soon, I was a bit sore for a couple of days but it wasn't too bad. As Cinderella says, paracetamol and plenty of water. Xx
I know its tempting but try not to have a bath - risk of infection x
I found a (not too hot) hot water bottle, with a cosy woollen cover, really helped ease the discomfort after egg retrieval. Hope all goes well for you. x
My clinic told me not to have a bath for at least 24hrs... which was hard as it was all I could think about! I was also told not to use a hot water bottle as it could mean that the bleeding wouldn’t stop...
I was also told not to have a bath for at least 24 hours for risk of infection and to avoid using a hot water bottle. I found Paracetamol and drinking plenty of water helped. Fingers crossed the cramps settle down soon x
Hi / I had this today. Had a shower and hubby bought me a heated blanket which I have on low and eases some aches. Feel better ♥️♥️
Hi , I have been always told no bath to avoid risk of infection. Please check with your clinic prior having a bath. Good luck with your treatment 🤞 w
