Egg Retrieval Day...

Morning all...

This is my first cycle of IVF and this morning I had my egg retrieval... They said that they collected 18 eggs so I’m happy with that. I don’t know what the average is but the clinic said 18 was good... I’ve just got to hope now that they go on to fertilise and then freeze as I have to have a frozen transfer.

The clinic said that they will call tomorrow with an update so I’ve my fingers crossed 🤞🏻apparently freeze day for any fertilised ones is Sunday / Monday... feels like a lifetime away!

How much are you spending for the treatment? Im from Ireland but I went abroad for treatment. It was totally worth it!

Thank you ... they said at the clinic if 60% fertilise than that’s good so that’s what we are hoping for 🤞🏻 x

That’s a great number. I had 12 collected yesterday and they rang today to say 5 had fertilised ... praying they get to blastocyst stage x
