I need advice help !

Hi

I haven’t posted in a while but I was wondering if you would help me with what to do next.

I went to my first ivf appointment thinking everything was fine with me as the issues in the past have been with the DH, so had a pelvic scan and I have found out I have severe endometriosis on both ovaries I have 1 5cm cyst and 1 4cm cyst. I don’t know what would be the best course of action do I go to the Doctors and get them surgically drained or do I try a course of ivf and hope for the best just don’t know what to do !

Any help will be greatly received

Hey. Sorry you have these things going on. You better speak to a consultant or get referral from the gp and seek advice. I asked a similar question here and it all depends on the size of the cyst, type and consultant as well. I have a cyst as well and mine is not functional and doesn't release any hormones so they let me start my ivf cycle. Are you going private or through the nhs? Xxx

It's normal. You had one plan in your head and then something else popped out. They should be able to send you to a specialist and they will tell what's the best to do now. Don't stress yourself 😊 some of the cysts tbey go away in a cycle or 2 xxx 😊🤗😍xxx

Wow, that's a bit of a blow when you think you are all ready. I would definitely speak with your gp or consultant about these results but as has been said already it depends on the size of the cyst. I would mean towards doing something about the endo and the cyst before treatment in order to maximise your chances. With the endo, if it's bad then I would ask where it is and the impact it might have on your chances if you went straight for IVF. But again, personally after having gone through u years of trying to get pregnant, I understand the frustrations and drive to just get going, but I would treat the cyst and endo first x

Hi Hopefully. I would have thought they would have said something if they were worried. The IVF process if long protocol will most likely calm it down. Just going to have to check with the clinic. Hope it can go ahead. Diane
