I’m looking for advice and anyone’s own stories please. I’ve been for my follow up appointment today following my failed FET. Now that we have had two failed transfers the endometrial scratch was mentioned. Do you think that it would be worth us paying for me to have one before our third transfer?
Any advice or opinions would be much appreciated.
Many thanks xx

Hi there, I was asked to consider the scratch too. I’ve got mine tomorrow! It’s relatively cheap in the great scheme of things, and I feel it can do no harm 💕 xx
Hey Jebby86,after our first failed ivf,we were told to have it done it will help the embryo implant. I did and I’m 10 weeks pregnant with twins. It’s worth a try. good luck x
I think a scratch is one of those things that some people feel help and others don’t. In the grand scheme of things it is pretty cheap and certainly can’t hurt. I had 2 failed FETs and so opted to try a scratch. After the scratch I had the heaviest period I’ve ever had with huge clots coming away (which is not like me) so I do think that essentially “reset” my lining. I got my BFP straight after that with what was in theory the worst quality embryo (I say in theory because it was a good grade, in fact the best of all 3, but a day 6 embryo which is supposed to make it worse quality than all day 5 embryos - not sure how much I believe that). I can’t say for certain it was the scratch that did it, but it certainly didn’t hurt. Good luck with whatever you decide.
