Last night was much harder than I has anticipated. We always have a party sith OH's family... who I love to bits! But last nigjt was struggle for me.
Were waiting to start IVF soon which they all know, so I was sober. But the drunker everyone got the harder it was to listen to their "advice".. as well meant as it might have been.
This wasnt helped by the fact I had to spend the whole night beside the only other sober person who happens to be our teenage neice who got accidentally pregnant who spent all night complaining about how awful pregnancy was.....
Ok moan over...I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and to anyone who struggled, Im sorry, I hope 2019 is your year! xo

Blimey! What a tough night! You deserve a medal! I’m crying off being with new people tonight. I just can’t face the questions. I’ll take the intrusive judgemental comments on other days but Christmas and Boxing Day are out. 🤣 Keep your spirits up. 🤗 xxx
Hey, I can very much relate to you. I will also be starting my IVF in January. However, I haven't told my family yet. I am too scared to talk about myself anymore. This Christmas wasn't the best for me. I just didn't want to talk to anyone. However, when with family I did feel a lot better. Good luck to you.
I had a slightly split xmas with OH’s family a week before the day as they were away for xmas day and I ended up looking after my three nieces/nephews (who I love dearly, but who’s parents take for granted what they have) and then at work have to listen to a colleague who got pregnant by accident on a one night stand complain about her symptoms.
So you’re not alone and I completely sympathise xxx
Yup! I've noticed the ones who complain about pregnancy or give plentiful advice about what you "should" be doing are the ones who've never struggled to get pregnant in the first place!
