Just a quick update

Hi all

I posted last week to advise I had started bleeding and been to epu. Well, what a week of waiting it has been. Hcg on Saturday was 1000, Monday 1500 and Wednesday 2636. Scan on Saturday showed suspect mass on my right tube and nothing in my womb. Monday showed nothing suspicious on right ovary and one tiny sac where it should be. No scan on Wednesday but by Friday they could see a sac that they aged at 5 weeks rather than 6 with no visible embryo or anything inside. The hospital said they expected I will misscarry.

All week my bleeding has continued although no more than a pad a day. Last night I did pass the 50p clot and more and also filled 3 pads within an hour.

In some ways it was a relief after all the uncertainty during the week to have this move. And it was a relief too as I was feeling all at sea and periody.

I am positive as we have never got this far before and lots of us amazing women have a wee practice run before the main event. I am sad as we really thought this was our time. I am determined as we will do this again soon - and that time will be our time. Oh, and we get to go back to Spain in the heat this time 😊

Stay strong everyone. Have a happy Easter, eat chocolate and remember we will all get there one day xxx 😙
