In November I had my first ICSI cycle which failed. I got 9 blastocysts and one put back so I have 8 in the freezer. I have an AMH of 43 and PCOS. I have never ever had a positive pregnancy test in over 2 years of trying. And I have never been pregnant before that either! Could I have some kind of implantation failure? First of all, congratulations on that amazing number of embryos!!
As for implantation problems, I'm sure the ladies on here will have some suggestions, they're a goldmine of information. But one failed transfer could just be down to bad luck - even though everything is looking perfect sometimes it just doesn't stick, so don't despair yet, although it's good to be prepared with some questions for your clinic - keep them on their toes hahaha
Best of luck for the future hon xxx
If you send Diane a pm she will email you a list of questions to ask at your follow up appointment.
Having 8 in the freezer is an amazing achievement! You have potentially 8 more chances at this 🤞🏻 xx
Hey Ruby. Ive had 4 bfns so far and sometimes it's just down to luck. IVF is just one big lottery and some people get lucky first time and others don't. Unfortunately IVF only has around a 30% chance of success so we're really up against it. However you are very lucky to have so many blastocysts in the freezer so you're still in with a good chance.xx
Thank you, maybe it was bad luck but I’m just worked about another BFN. I find it emotionally very difficult x
