Hi guys, I have endo on my ovaries and ascites (few fibroids too!), tried IVF with my own eggs, 2 cycles (first round they got 1 egg from natural modified IVF), but no eggs from second round and ended up with PID due to poor management from my clinic for antibiotic follow-up.
Anyway long story short, I am now thinking of donor eggs, I am asain (South east Asia), but live in UK, so want to know the in's and outs of finding a donor - how many of you went abroad and how many of you got eggs from the UK? any help would be appreciated! thanks

Im having treatment abroad which is anonymous and they dont have any waiting lists. When matching you they ask for photographs and both you and hubby and you fill in a questionnire type thing with eye colour, hair colour, hair type, skin type, bloody type......you get the idea. They also ask you if there is anything important to you like educations etc. They then go through their datatbase and from the matches and photos they give you a match/matches and you only get to know the basics, age, eye colour, hair colour, height, body type and you just go from there really. The actual process is pretty simple however getting your head around using DE is the tough stumbling block to get over I would say! Best of luck and feel free to ask any questions if you think I can help!xx
We still dont have our baby yet but we're getting closer. I think I've been pretty unlucky so far but the clinic have been great adjusting meds and trying new things. It initially cost €5500 but that may be different now.x
Hi there. We tried a donor egg cycle earlier this year which involved our clinic working with a clinic abroad to import the donor eggs.
I found joining the Donor Conception Network was a brilliant way to help come to terms with using donor eggs in the first place and then deciding on where to have treatment. They’re brilliant. Would highly recommend them to you.
Best of luck going forward and don’t hesitate to give me a shout if there’s anything else I can help with xx
