Hi is there any questions you advice asking the consultant after a second failed transfer? I'm aware he will probably say it's down to poor egg quality as I have a low AMH. I'm really interested in the immune side of things as I also have lupus is this something worth perusing. I also bleed really early on my cycles 5dp5dt so I think I might have some sort of progesterone issue. My lining is always 8mm at transfer which I think is ok? Any advice is much appreciated. We are looking at clinics that do pgs screening to see if we can change aswell

I think the immune questions would be good to ask as you indicate. I have had 6 ICSI failures and thinking about testing for uNK cells at the same time as an endometrial scratch. I had a very high AMH for my age but possible quality is poor. I am looking into donor eggs currently. I am not sure if this is something worth asking the consultant about as well and even just getting your name on the waiting list (you can always be thinking about it whilst waiting or pursuing other options.
Thanks DC13 that's great advice it's a good point asking about doner aswell me and my husband have talked about that option I am also going to ask about immunes we have to wait and see if our CCG will approve a transfer of clinic aswell which would be good as our currant clinic doesn't do any immune testing or pgs testing I know these would be extra on top of our NHS funding but I definitely think it's worth asking if you don't ask you don't get do you! Really hope your NK testing brings you some answers and you get a positive result soon nothing more heart breaking than IVF failures is there especially because we put our heart and souls in to each round xxxx
hi Mayaudrey. If you like, I could send you a list of questions for you to look through before going back to see your consultant. It's too long to add here, but if you email me in confidence to support@fertilitynetworkuk.org I will send it too you. Good luck! Diane
