Hi all, my first cycle was abandoned on 5th October due to my body responding too quickly to the meds (125 of Gonal F & Cetrotide) (I have PCOS). It’s now been 23 days and still no AF! The hospital just called me back this morning, said to go in tomorrow for a scan & bloods to see what’s happening. Has anyone else experienced such a delay waiting on their period after a failed cycle?? What worried me is that the nurse said ‘oh this is unusual’ and now my minds in over drive thinking all sorts 😩

Still waiting....
I took 72 days to the a period following an abandoned cycle. I think it was because they shut everything down, revved up but never did the trigger. My poor body didn't know what to do. I even started having hot flushes etc. Eventually I got back to normal but it took a good 6 months x
No advice but try not to worry, you have a scan tomorrow, they’ll get to the bottom of it. You’ll see xx
So they’ve scanned me & ovaries are back to normal, lining is thick. They’ve given me provera to bring on a period, just got to keep fingers crossed it does the job and hopefully we can get started again before they stop for Christmas. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of you wonderful souls on here for continually being there for us all despite your own personal struggles. This site really is full of comfort & warmth & has been invaluable to me on my journey so far💕 baby dust to one & all ✨✨✨✨✨xxx
